Ondermaats budgethotel
Voldeed niet aan de verwachtingen: veel van de voorzieningen waren niet aanwezig zoals WiFi op de kamer, airco, tv, toiletartikelen (zelfs wc papier was er niet!), water,... Er werd ons eerst een kamer aangeboden tegen de receptie. In deze gang wordt overigens ook het ontbijt aangeboden. We vroegen een andere kamer verder van de receptie en kregen deze ook. Alleen was deze ook absoluut niet geluiddicht. Breng zeker oordopjes mee of vraag een kamer op een van de verdiepingen. Qua netheid was dit hotel ondermaats. Housekeeping gebeurde alleen als je erachter vroeg en sloegen dan alsnog de badkamer over. De badkamer was dus erg vuil. Er was geen ventilatie van de badkamer waardoor de hele kamer muf en vochtig werd. Pluspunten van deze accomodatie zijn de erg goede locatie en de vriendelijke vrouw aan de receptie. Deze hielp met al onze uitstapjes en praktische benodigdheden (zoals geld wisselen bij de bank en het regelen van een taxi).

We stayed there after the walk from Inle Lake before we travelled on. We could wash our shoes in the backyard which was necessairy! The Lady at the reception is very friendly. For one night it is ok, but there us not much to do in Kalaw.
