"This place was disgusting!We've NEVER had to CANCEL an VRBO before. But this place was an exception. We were booked for 10 nights and could only manage 1.We were extremely disappointed. There were lots of issues with the property (which outline below). We had written to the host several times about a lot of ongoing issues with the property but got limited responses and no resolution to fix the issues. We tried but we felt we could no longer stay at the property any further as they didn't care about our wellbeing so had to leave for our own well-being. I stressed to the host several times about issues we immediately found but they shrugged it off. There have been plenty more problems and all of these were ongoing issues. On arrival we discovered that there was only one bedroom. He advertised as 2. So I have to sleep on dirty old mattress in the kitchen,did not sleep whole night. The property should have been properly cleaned out before our arrival. There are 10 or more cats that constantly try to get inside the property as soon as you open the door! This was getting worse by the day as they get more confident even when I used a broom to usher them away. This is infuriating! And not relaxing. We tried having cup of coffee on the patio so had to come back inside property!!! Cat was attacking us! Which makes us feel trapped in a place we had paid for to RELAX in!!! The surrounding of the property is not nice, friendly, or welcoming. The property was so dirty! There was dirt,"

"I had a wonderful time at this all inclusive resort. I was here for my birthday. The staff decorated my room when I was at lunch, and then made me a cake for after dinner. Wonderful staff. Good choices at meal times, but a little sparse at the snack bars. I got a Cretan massage at the health spa and really enjoyed it. The room was very clean, as were the grounds in general. Beautiful big pools. The magic show by Magic Chris on Friday night was excellent. Great fun for kids and adults. Highly recommended."

"We had a really relaxing time at the Kalyves beach hotel. What wasn’t clear to us at booking was the “all inclusive” and “all inclusive welcome gift” option. We went for the latter which gave us the “all inclusive plus” package at the hotel and was well worth the small extra cost, giving us unlimited cocktails, room upgrade and discount on the spa. Excellent value for money and still easily got enough for us (27c) at the end of September. The buffet food selection was great for us too as we could pick and choose what we wanted. We loved the stay and the entertainment in the night arranged by Momo was excellent too. Everyone was so friendly and keen to help we felt so looked after and pampered! Fully recommended!"

"Firstly, no one mentioned the road thats in front of the villa, noisy all day. None of the interior doors closed properly, we had to put cushions to stop them banging when the wind blew through. Everything else was fine, except, we couldn't use the BBQ, which was such a shame, but we understand entirely."

We were surprised that the kitchen and living area are separate from the bedrooms requiring going outside to travel between each. Listing mentions private pool but both the pool and patio are easily in sight of areas shared with the host which was not what we were expecting. Overall pleasant stay."

"Beautiful property with lots of space, great pool and everything you needed inside and out. A 5 minute walk to the beaches and restaurants. It was great for us all as a family as the villa had everything we needed. The kids loved the games room when they’d had enough in the pool. Beautiful. "

"The property was ideal for us, it had a lovely pool and was well located near some excellent tavernas in the nearby village. There was also a small bar /hotel a short walk from us where we could go and have a drink. The owner was helpful and the community were very friendly, we would definitely go back"
