"Lovely cosy villa - as it’s name suggests right on the Hokitika river. Clean, comfortable, and nice and quiet - and the powerful hot shower was awesome! We enjoyed the stay."

"Place was great and fairly new, we stayed 2 nights, had a private shower and toilet which was good, but there is a communal shower/toilet block as well as a large shared kitchen ,laundry and family/games rooms, with bar-b-q's nearby.. Its a large place with plenty of room for RV's as well. The only thing was no a/c in the room, it does get quite hot in there but luckily we didn't have very hot days while there. Do bring your own shower gels and soap if renting a room with a bathroom as there were none provided, also had to ask for some milk, but he did give 1st one free. Only things l didn't like was the vanity was narrow and no hook for towel close to the shower. Would stay there again as long as not during summer... "

"We had a great time. Fraser was very welcoming and advised us on what to see and do. The bedroom was brilliant, sunset on the beach was amazing, lamb shank meal at Stumpers was excellent, and breakfast was just right. "
