"The big selling point of this hotel is the onsen. They bring in real onsen water from the nearby Hachimantai area to use in their public baths, giving a good onsen experience right in the heart of Morioka. Unfortunately, I found the bed and pillow to be much too firm, so it was a bit hard to get comfortable."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this onsen to anyone visiting morioka, even if for a couple of nights only. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the service was the best we had experienced before in any hotel or onsen. We were picked up from the bus stop with a shuttle service run by the hotel, which was fantastic. We had booked the room with the private onsen and it was just perfect. The public onsen is also extremely good The food was delicious also, with their ichibo steak and their ice coffee being very delicious. Definitely recommend!!!"

"Front desk was very helpful both when checking in and checking out. The biggest plus when booking was that I could pay in cash when I got there, something I needed as i couldn't process online payments. The room and its view were very nice, and a good size for one person. I wanted to try the tea provided in the room, but i was unsure whether it was an additional charge. If you want to make yourself tea in the morning, i suggest you ask when you check in. Hotel has three dining options. I was unable to go to them as I was budgeting the rest if the trip quite a bit, but I suggest you set aside 2-3000 yen to try one of them. I don't know when I'll ever be back to Morioka, but if I ever am I will plan to stay here again."
