The house is across the street from the Trooper's Office! The house is stunning, with an additional built-in microwave and oven that I wasn't aware of. "We had a fabulous visit. The apartment seems newly re-done. It was clean and comfortable for our family of 4. If anything, John, the host under sells the place. All the pictures on VRBO are of the really nice interior but there are also great views out the bedroom windows and from the super nice porch. The property is right on the Mendenhall River but down by the wider part of the river so out of the recent flood areas. Other than the super nice accommodations, the best part was that it is...

"The place is clean and in a very convenient location. Everything within walking distance. The views from the room is awesome where you can see the mountains and the cruise ships come and go. The property owners are very attentive from the day we arrived and responded to any inquiries we had."
