"We enjoyed our stay very much. The grounds are beautiful, with amazing views. The location is very private. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Teens enjoyed the spa, the ping pong table, and frisbee golf. The toaster oven should be replaced as you can’t read the controls because it is so old. We would love to come back."

"My family & I stayed in this amazing property for 5 nights & fell totally in love with it. The pictures simply do not do it justice- from the size of the place (which is much bigger than it looks in the photos) to the sheer beauty of its surroundings. "we had a great vacation! the property was as advertised: three bedrooms with linens and two baths with lots of towels. the hot tub was super fun both at night under the stars and during the day while bird watching. my family enjoyed the puzzles and games, and we appreciated the bottled water. *it appears that the property is undergoing some renovations (exposed duct work, open ceilings) and everything was a little dusty / dirty. "

"What a wonderful property and even more wonderful host! Amber was incredible. She took the time to show us around and let us meet all of the animals. My sister loved petting Tom the Turkey. He was suprisingly very mellow. But the one who stole the show and I had to stop by to say hello was the sweetest little donkey. Amber also guided us to a beautiful hike called Blue Lady Mine nearby. "Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the Mountain View Oasis home in Lakeside, CA. The property owners were great communicators, responsive and accommodating. The home was well stocked with all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was close to San Diego and a nice escape from the city at nighttime. Our kids enjoyed the wild peacocks in the neighborhood and the pool. The pool is heated at an additional cost per day. We would recommend this place to other families. "

"We enjoyed our stay in the house. The house was clean and comfortable ,the hostess was very responsive. The only drawback is that there is only one key available to enter the house( apparently there is no spare key available),so if you lose/misplaced your key there would be a problem. You might have to call for a locksmith.. Other then this I can recommend the house and location."
