"This property was even better in person than the owner’s description and pictures. We felt like we were way out in the desert, even though we were very close to the main highway with its bountiful restaurants and shops. Joshua Tree National Park is just minutes away. We went to the park during the day and one night went back in to view the stars. The other nights we viewed the stars from the hot tub on the property. Beautiful!! The owner is wonderful to deal with and provided lots of good information. When we left, my husband left a pair of hiking pants behind. The owner texted me after we left to say the pants were found and offered to send them to us. I will reimburse her, but it was great of her to go to the trouble of sending them. All in all, a wonderful experience and we would definitely go back to this property. "

"We stayed at the Village House during our trip to Joshua Tree. We had stayed there one year ago and enjoyed it so much we returned this year. It did not disappoint. The home is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The backyard oasis is perfect after a day of hiking in the park which is very nearby. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful home. "

"We booked this place pretty late for Valentine's weekend. I mention that because it's not the typical part of this area that we book places. We usually like to be further away from the main road for quiet, safety, and darker skies. This spot is right downtown JT. It is very convenient to get to the National Park and all the local shops, restaurants, and bars. The home is a split property and we were lucky nobody was next door. It would be a different experience if there was somebody in the other unit because of how close you'd be to them. The inside was remodeled well and it provides a comfortable stay. Outside is decent enough but there is garbage everywhere all around the property driveway and in the road. It's not a big deal, but it is noticeable. Overall, the place was a solid stay for the one night we needed it. "

"The house was clean and well kept. Stocked with lots of games. Only feedback is to update the pots and pans as they are non stick and severely scratched. Also, the cleaning product used was extremely strong and made my pregnant wife a little nauseous. "

"As amazing as this place looks online, it’s even better once there! The kids loved the game room (as did we) and we all enjoyed the completely different vibes of each bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and functional, the hot tub was ready to go and we enjoyed s’mores out by the fire pit. Also wanted to mention the owners specifically. In addition to being super responsive and professional, they are also decent and kind. We had an issue that they resolved quickly and with complete understanding and empathy. We would be back in a heartbeat. Thank you for a lovely weekend! "
