"The hotel is rustic and the staff is very friendly and the room was clean. Is a good spot to BBQ as a self-catering unit, since the grill is right outside the room. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. Cold beers and hot chips at the patio bar. The location is optimal for visits to Kruger NP via the Punda Maria gate."

"Nieuw hotel met een fijn groot zwembad. Er wordt veel gebouwd in de omgeving. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Mooi restaurant met lekker eten. Wel gehorig. Goed voor een stop tussen Krugerpark (gate Punda Maria) en Louis Trichardt."

"Access very poor, the road was in very poor condition, too long a drive (1.5 hours) to get to the Pafuri gate as top access gate closed off, no game in local game reserve, water ran out. Edwin, the camp manager was on his own but did exceptionally well and is an exceptional birder which made the trip worthwhile for us."
