"This property was perfect for relaxation. It is gorgeous and the presidential villa was amazing. Every room was comfortable with adequate ac and the common area was large enough for a a family. The kitchen was large and had cooler with filtered water. The unit had it's own pool but we also enjoyed the infinity pool on the grounds. The only drawback was that the restaurant on the grounds closed its doors the day we arrived and there is nothing in the area so you must go out for meals or purchase food for the apt. Zihua was interesting and we did a few excursions including the day trip to isla de Ixtapa. This place is so beautiful with the views of pool, beach and amazing sunset and the staff was awesome that we will be back. "

"Hotel was just ok nothing special. Bed comfortable but right beside the road and very noisy. Staff did not speak English but tried very very hard to communicate. Rate desk staff as excellent. Poor amenities Bathroom floor very muddy and sink barely flowed. Shower ok but floor dirty. "

"If anything, the pictures do not do not do the casa don pepe justice. The location was great - right outside the walls was the village of Barra de Pototsi. Our family enjoyed the small shops, restaurants and friendliness there. Our kids played soccer with the local children and even attended a birthday party of a local girl. Talk about cultural education! But back to the villa - it was idea for our family of 23. The caretaker family met our every need. We loved the pool and the ocean front. We lounged in the hammocks, played games, and ate lots of great food including fresh fruit everyday. The rooms were very clean and quite spacious. The only issue that we had, even though we thought we came prepared was the small black bugs that were quite viscous. Most of us came home with multiple itchy bites. That was a small price to pay in comparison to the abundant amenities and wonderful location of the Casa Don Pepe. Would love to visit again."

"Las Palmas is truly a tropical paradise. The beach area and surrounding plants are meticulously maintained. La Cantinita, the beach restaurant/bar Is wonderful. All of the entrees and beverages were just delicious. The wait staff was professional and friendly. We especially appreciated Isaac and Geo. Our unit was spacious and comfortable. The showers were beautiful although after the first day neither shower had hot water. The master bathroom had toilet issues which we resolved after a time. The kitchen although adequate could use some new pots and pans, spatulas and dishwashing equipment. We had no sink/stopper basket, no dish pan and/or drainer. We had to purchase a lighter to light the gas cook top as the one furnished was not working. We so enjoyed the spacious, beautiful deck which offered spectacular views of the ocean and entire garden area. Location of this property is great, very close to the airport, about 5 miles. A small mercado was located just down the road. Soriana in Zihua is a very nice deptmart store which features a large liquor department and wonderful bakery and produce. We would visit this property again."
