"This visit was a time of reset that I needed after loosing my mom. I could not have found a better place of peace to do just that. "We came to the area to spend New Years Eve with our son at Southern Illinois University. The location is perfect - close enough to Carbondale for convenience, but just far enough from the city to be a comfortable, peaceful place to stay. The cabin was clean, spacious and well appointed.
