"our host was so quick to answer and even when we had a few bumps with the heating, it was quickly fixed/ accommodated for us. the place was so cozy and charming it was a great place to wind down and relax after spending hours outdoors exploring trails and hikes. the beds were CRAZY comfortable, really made taking short naps a dangerous game to play lol Would 100% come back and recommend to others!"

"Clean, open, and sunny. Happy to have the gas stove and washer/dryer. Bed was comfortable and bedding was most inviting. Couch a bit uncomfortable with the worn in dip where we sat. "While the basic but perfectly functional apartment is right on the Main Street of Indian Lake next to a bar (with great food) and the town’s theatre, the whole place has an Adirondack vibe and allows access to all that the area provides. John was friendly and helpful. Going during the town’s Moose Fest was a huge bonus!"

When we arrived to the building there was mold all over the door, including the door handle which we obviously had to touch in order to get in. There were a small set of wooden stairs that were covered with mold and so slippery that a few of us almost slipped multiple times. Opening the door to the apartment was a joke. "If you are looking for a place to stay to ski at Gore Mountain, this is the place. The drive to the mountain was super easy and is only 18 minutes away. The house itself is a bit dated but charming.
