The Sandpiper is just the right distance from the shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach to mean we could park the car on Monday - safely off the street - and not drive it again until Friday! "The property is in a great location for exploring Apollo Bay or stopping over on your journey along the Ocean Road. Located just on the edge of town (5 minutes walk into the main shopping area) the motel is well situated - lots of parking and neat, spotlessly clean, well equipped apartments. We had an upstairs (no lift) apartment with a double and single. Nicely laid out with a shower ensuite and a kettle for making coffee and tea. The welcome at reception was friendly and efficient. The price was very competitive in comparison with other similar looking properties online and was great value for money in a busy time of the year. Would definitely come back."

"I must say that I have been delighted with this place, located in one of the most beautiful parks in Australia. The Cape Otway Lighthouse is 2 -3 km away. You wake up in the morning and most likely you will see a Koala at the top of the tree in front of your tent or van. The staff was really attentive."
