"We had the most wonderful, relaxing time in Lower Gellibrand, we did not want to leave. It was so quiet and peaceful, we could sit and look at the view all day (from the bed or bath). The kitchen is really well equipped and Matthew was an exceptional host, very warm and welcoming - the local honey, tea, butter, olives and the amazing garden were much appreciated. Thank you Matthew, we will be back again next time we are in Australia. "

"Mark and Roz’s gorgeous property was a perfect place to spend a few relaxing days. The cabin was built of lovely local woods, with huge windows framing the beautiful views of gardens and farmlands. Comfortable beds and bath, nicely furnished, light and cheerful. Lots of back roads to explore and several good meals at the Perch. Couldn’t have been nicer!"

"Equipment - TVs, disc players drastically need updating. For the rates charged the present arrangements are simply not good enough, especially as the site is so isolated. Instructions to operate the spa in the studio would be a good idea - we never did solve that one! It would be good if the spa jets in Bedroom 1 worked!!! A fridge needs to be located in the kitchen. I found it annoying to have to trek to the utility area whilst cooking. Management needs to advise guests of the isolation...

"The hotel is right on the coast of an "own" bay of manies in the Great Ocean Road with magnificent and relaxing sea-view and sound. Parking, check-in, and the property itself (even with black birds singing, alpaca's, lake etc.) are superb. The rooms are a bit too tight, there was not enough space to pack out or eat. During our stay there was problem with the fire alarm,, which went on several times at night, and with a lot of little flies."
