"Me and my new husband spent our wedding night here absolutely perfect. We arrived late and the night manger was perfect warm greeting and showed us to our room to our surprise he was there for breakfast as well. The room was perfect we was greeted by a dove in our room in the morning which we are taking as good luck. The spa facilities were brilliant and relaxing as well thank you so much everything was perfect "

"Fantastic view from balcony, so very special being able to watch the sunset. The hotel gives good value for money, with breakfast included and a short walk to the harbour market. It is quite an old hotel, so you can hear people moving around all night - if a light sleeper you will likely be disturbed. Bathroom could have done with a blind as the room got light at 5am which was a shame, otherwise a comfortable room. "

"property located in a quiet residential area located at 20 minutes walk from town centre .property is a bid dated and could do with a bit more cleaning .no much water coming for the shower ,bed and sofa bed very uncomfortable and we had a cockroach visiting while we were there .we found a trap under the sink in toilet therefore business must be aware of issue. not many choices for a family room in the area especially at last minute but we won’t return in this hotel "

"Lovely stay; recently refurbished room and sparkling clean en-suite. Made good use of the fan provided, during a warm night. Only suggestion is to offer fruit, yogurt and perhaps croissants for breakfast as not everyone likes a full English. However, our breakfast was well cooked and delicious. Had good advice and help with parking, as we arrived, which was much appreciated as parking is tight."

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."
