"Came to Turrialba for the Canyons- but fell in love with this place. The deck was incredible, great place for mornings- watching the Tucan, watching the clouds roll by all from a comfy chair. The hot tub was a rare novelty. I spent time in other cities in CR, but this place is incredible. Absolutely will be back!"

"Wow, what an incredible slice of heaven. Feels like you’re a million miles away from civilization. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning, dinner with Gregory (host) and sitting on the porch in the evening were highlights of the stay. It’s a commitment to get up and down the road and 4wd is essential. As such I’d recommend staying at least 2 nights w/o going down. Hosts offers horseback rides and guided hikes around the property. "This home is gorgeous! The kitchen has all the plates, pots, pans, accessories we needed for the final stop in our 10 day trip to Costa Rica. Truly, we were exhausted by the time we arrived to this property, so we only left once for a trip to the botanical garden but it was the perfect way to recharge before we flew home. "The host was wonderful and even brought us a fruit welcome. The home is great and bedrooms are set to either side of spacious common area, full kitchen, and an amazing deck that looks out over the town and volcano. We had an incredible stay!"

"Beautiful location, friendly host are the positives. Very difficult 300 m driveway to reach the cabin. Unfortunately host had issues with his calendar and did not realize he had rented it out at this time. Cabin was not clean and had to be cleaned once error was corrected. As the host was not expecting us, gate was locked and took some time to contact host."
