"Just a clean and safe place. No concerns staying there with granddaughters. Clean, comfortable. Everything in working order. Breakfast was nice but eggs, sausage, potatoes need to be kept warmer. Waffles good! Front desk staff always friendly, especially the evening check in guy! Making frequent trips from Austin to Lufkin, good halfway spot. Subway and other restaurants within easy walking distance. Christmas store and event next door. Will check it out next time. Buccee's just across the street."

"The owner was very pleasant & when I arrived several hours late he checked me in & was very nice. I extended my stay by a day & it was easier than at other hotels. The property is older but well kept & clean. Much better stay than at more expensive hotels. You cannot beat the room rate & quality of this hotel. Will definitely stay again in the futute."
