"We always stay at the Quest when we come to WA as it close to family and friends. It has absolutely everything we need for a long stay. And there are restaurants and coffee shops close by, as well as a big shopping centre a very short drive away. "
“Ballakup House - A Large & Unique Bush Retreat, Surrounded by Grass Trees”
10/10 Excellent
"My family of 4 plus my friend’s family of 4 stayed here over the winter school holidays, we had a fabulous time, the older kids loved chopping up the wood and helping to light the fire, and making s’mores every night. The house is perfect for 2 families as there are 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom on each side of the house. It was a great house to relax in but there was also plenty to do if you wanted to, we visited serpentine falls and the dam, also Cahuna wildlife park, and ate at most of the eateries close by, our favourite being Bistro by the Dam- the food here was fantastic, and it also had a great playground. We went on daily bush walks and the kids went on their bikes- we saw kangaroos a few times. It was a great winters retreat! Lizzie was a fantastic host:) communication with her was easy and pleasant. We would definitely recommend the house to others. "
" Lovely stay with my wife. Excellent brand new facilities. Just an excellent stay for us. Friendly staff and beautiful decor. I was upgraded by friendly staff upon arrival & check-in. Will stay again for sure. "
"Property was near where i had to be. Room was under furnished. No table/desk or small cupboard to pack clothes. Sink was coming detached from wall.
Amenities was very basic.
Paid a extra $50 deposit when checking in, which was not refunded.
Made a full payment of $548 when I booked room. For the amount paid I could have booked a hotel room with much more amenities.

"Certainly! Here's a polished and heartfelt version of your review:This place was truly amazing. It has a warm, homely feel that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was very comfortable and inviting. While the place could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a bit of TLC in some areas, these are minor details. Overall, it’s a wonderful, cozy home that we thoroughly enjoyed staying in.We loved spending time there with our family, especially because of how close it was to the beach. We would definitely love to return and stay again in the future.Thank you for a lovely stay!"
