"We loved our time here. We came in summer, and the water park adjacent was pretty great, even though the wave pool was down for repairs on the day we went. We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car. All employees were great, but especially Ali for valet parking and Claire at reception helped us very much. "Great place to stay.. we stayed for 4 nights 2 adults and my 13 year old son.. the only things I’d say..!! is it’s pointless having a kitchen in the apartment, if you do not give a few more facilities for people to use.. we did not go for breakfast as we only eat small before hitting the slopes.. it’s obvious that the hotel restricts any cutlery to force people to eat there or eat out., personally I run 5 holiday rentals and would never restrict items from a property.. the place is restricted...

"The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. The staff is very nice. However, the hotel is a little worn and could use some updating. The elevator is small and outdated; have to push down button even when going up leading to much inefficiency with people getting on for both directions. "I chose this destination & hotel to celebrate my birthday and I must say I loved everything about it, the hotel is perfectly located in the center and few steps from the gondolas station, nice restaurant options around the area, make sure you visit before the closing season as many good restaurants close on Apr 7. Good spa & friendly staff, highly recommended "

Courchevel: Cosy and spacious family duplex - Courchevel Village - 3*

A good introduction to Courchevel Village 1550

"After a long drive from the UK to Courchevel Village our first impressions were a little underwhelming. What we were all actually experiencing was tiredness. We were a group of 10 people ages ranging from teens to adults from close and extended family members. The decisions as to who was going to sleep in what bed and also with whom took some careful considerations but fortunately as a group we all get on very well in each others company! We did have concerns that 10 people and only two bathrooms would be a bit of an issue but it actually worked logistical rather well. The apartment is in a good central location of Courchevel Village, being only a 10 minutes walk up a easily manageable hill and some steps to the Village centre (just across from the Touvets Chair Lift). We hired Ski Lockers at the ESF Ski School in the village so we didn't have to walk up and down from the apartment in Ski Boots and with our Ski's & Snowboards. Parking at the apartment was fine. We had three vehicles in our group so we parked two cars in the apartments own double length garage and our Land Rover was parked in the parking area just across from the garage. If you are a group of close family and/or friends that are looking for a cosy affordable place to stay in a good location as a base to explore Courchevel and the rest of the Les 3 Vallees ski resorts then this is a good place to start."

Madame Vacances Hôtel Courchevel Olympic

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel despite it being somewhat modest, lacking a proper lobby. However, the reception from and care by India, the property manager was exceptional. I was traveling alone and India made sure all was well with me and that I made myself familiar with everything. For a modest hotel in a pricey area this was truly comfortable and hospitable! Thank you, India!"

"Great hotel. Great ski in ski out location. One isssue was the location of our room. It had an amazing view over the slopes but the room was right above where all the deliveries came on skidoos, consequently the room was really noisy if you wanted to sleep with the window open (and even with it shut, to some extent). Pick your room carefully though and it was just perfect. Our room was 112"

"Strategic location, ski in/out and walking distance from 1850. Staff are great, doing whatever it takes to serve guests, all of them with no exception: the always smiling guy at entrance, receptionists, manager, ski shop staff, lobby cafe, breakfast, and especially the concierge man. Ski rental shop in the same building. Old styled building still using Keys :) Booked the classic room mountain view: Room size is good for 3 days stay with no ski gear in - the cubic corner shower is very small and needs to take two steps up to get in. Had great time during my stay at the hotel and would consider it next time if price is fair. "
