"It’s an AMAZING palace located in the best part of Varanasi, a 5 minute walks to the ceremony sight and right on the ghat. We only planed 1 day stay but wish we had stayed longer. The staff made us feel like family and helped us make it to everything!! Ravi and the chef were super nice and accommodated our preferences making our dinner and breakfast unforgettable!!"

"Stayed for three nights at Shree Ganesha Residency. It was a great and comfortable stay. High five to all the staff! Prime location and walkable to all the ghats and temples including Kashi Vishwanath. Prime location for awesome Benarasi food and delicacies and shopping. 5 stars!!!"

"The property is in the very narrowed lane of "Bangali Tola", which is a very dirty & congested area & you have to reach there walking long, asking here & there for the exact building but after reaching, your all anxiety will be relieved with the smiling appearance of 'Dilip', the boy who is always at your service to make your stay happy. Great Location, But Not Comfortable

"The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It’s perfectly situated close to all the major landmarks in the city, making sightseeing very convenient. However, the biggest issue is transportation. No vehicles are allowed in the area, so you have to walk at least 700–800 meters with your luggage. This was especially difficult in the extreme heat (44°C) and with a child. It was a very uncomfortable and exhausting experience. The room itself was extremely small—comparable to a matchbox. While the hotel does have an in-house restaurant, the food was just okay, nothing special. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for comfort or ease of access. It might suit solo travelers who are okay with walking and don’t mind compact rooms, but for families or anyone with mobility concerns, this place is not ideal."

"CLEAN , COMFORTABLE HOTEL IN A CROWDED AREA VERY CLOSE TO THE GANGA AARTI AND KASHI VISHWANATH TEMPLE. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AND DINNER. STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL . HOTEL CAN ARRANGE GOOD TAXI CABS FOR VISITS TO SARNATH, PRAGYARAJ, AYODHYA ETC. WE STAYED IN 3 PERSON SUITE WHICH WAS VERY COMFORTABLE"

"The location of the hotel on the ghats is excellent - though be aware that the atmosphere can be smoky at times as the cremation grounds are not far away. I got absolutely what I paid for. Staff were helpful at all times and food in the restaurant is both good and reasonably priced. Why four rather than five stars? No hot water for half of my stay - and decor is a tad tired and almost gloomy. This was evidently the fashion at some point - as my (considerably worse) Delhi hotel was similar. I was a solo older female traveller and never felt unsafe or unduly pressurised. "

Great stay

"I was there at a festival, road blocked and left my backpack wit passport, money and stuff. At the Hotel owner ran me around for an 2 hours and made many calls until it was found. They took care of me made sure I was safe. Great location, and I highly recommend them. "

"I really like the idea of ceiling fan in the toilet. It keeps it dry and clean. When I tried to use shower, water started flowing in the room. Room cleaning service was okay, as per my expectations. I am comparing it with other international holidays locations. I guess on Kasi and Indian standard, it's good. There is very little service. You have to ask. Over all, I would give it 3.5 starts."
