"Our stay at Plantation Jan Thiel Lodge was absolutely unforgettable! Loike is the greatest host we could have asked for. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. She provided excellent recommendations on local restaurants, guided us to some stunning local trails, and even pointed out the best snorkeling spots. Although we initially booked just one night due to a conference at the Marriott, we instantly wished we had planned our entire five-day stay here. The Lodge may not be right on the ocean, but its unique charm and warm atmosphere more than make up for it. There’s a special spirit to this place that makes you want to return again and again. If I could give Plantation Jan Thiel Lodge 6 stars, I absolutely would! Highly recommended to anyone visiting the island."

The thoughtful design of the house maximizes both space and comfort, creating a true home-away-from-home atmosphere.The outdoor pool area was nothing short of a tropical paradise. We spent countless hours lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the serene surroundings. The outdoor lounge area was perfect for relaxing with a good book or sipping cocktails as the sun set. It offered a fantastic blend of comfort and style, making it an ideal spot for both socializing and unwinding.Proximity to Attractions was a hit! The house location was conveniently situated near stunning beaches, local restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. "We had a wonderful time staying at the villa! We loved the fact that every room had its own bathroom and had everything we needed. The welcome gift was nice and the property management company was great and very responsive! We hired a private chef that the welcome documents mentioned (Rudy Culinair) which was wonderful for our group to not have to cook/clean every night. The owners were responsive and helpful leading up to our stay about any questions we had! Other reviews were correct about the lack of paper towel which was not a big deal, we just bought some at the store. We also did have construction every day while we were there which was loud, but obviously something that was out of control of the owners. They did seem to be close to finishing up right next door- so hopefully not a problem for future guests. Thank you for a great stay, we loved visiting the island!"

"We had a wonderful stay at villa vista Laman and are already talking about a return trip. The house was spotless, checkin/checkout was easy and the outdoor area was perfect for us and our kids. It’s an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and grocery. We will certainly return! "
