"I hope I can put into words what a special place the Plantation Lodge is and how it has a place in my heart now. It was truly magical. I would hands down recommend a stay to anyone here who wants a lovely, peaceful, stress free environment. From the generously portioned breakfast made with loving hands from Loeki (the pancakes yumm, omelets, fresh juices and coffee all of it - the best)!! The warm welcomes from the doggies, made my day, everyday! It’s all fantastic. Our room was large and well appointed. Clean pool, hiking trails to salt flats, and the small details like tightly made bed and mint, cucumber, orange waters next to the bed upon return from the beach, the library- made this stay truly remarkable. I felt safe and cared for the entire week. I actually cried leaving, there are not many places have ever done that to me. I am already trying to figure out ways to get back. The island is a special place, but I believe it’s the beautiful soul of Loeki and the other awesome guests that also stay there. Just make sure you keep your eye on digger the lab so he doesn’t go off with wandering ladies on the trail, my husband almost made the local news letting digger wander off with them, but we had a laugh about it thankfully! ;) My husband and I will be back. If anyone is hesitating booking, Do not hesitate, you will never regret booking at the Jan Thiel Plantation. "

Our hosts were fantastic and flexible when we had multiple family members arriving at different times for our stay. This is the perfect place to stay in curaçao— close to almost everything we wanted and a lovely place to spend a vacation. Would absolutely stay again!"

"This was a destination birthday celebration for my 60th birthday with friends. Indi greeted us at the door and ushered us into her lovely home and we immediately settled in. The property is just as beautiful as the pictures except they don't show the lovely sea breeze and amazing sunsets. If you can, make sure to get one of the specially prepared meals, we felt like royalty eating in the outdoor dining room as the sun went down.This was truly a trip of a lifetime and I feel I have a new friend in Curaçao!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Jan Thiel! The house was perfect for our group of shared families—spacious, stylish, and in a great location close to the beach. The outdoor space, especially the pool, was a highlight and made for a truly relaxing experience.We did have a few small hiccups, like initially struggling to figure out the appliances, and we were surprised that the bathrooms didn’t have doors, which took some getting used to. However, the property manager was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions.Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this house to others looking for a gorgeous and well-located vacation home in Jan Thiel!"
