"Return trip after a night at a desert camp. Staff went above and beyond to get us the room that we wanted with the best fort view. We arrived before check in time and were treated to a complimentary lunch in the roof top restaurant. On departure, staff made sure we had plenty of water for our road trip and even packed us a lunch. Would definitely stay here again, largely for the location, but mainly for the excellent service. "

"The rooms are incredible, with carved stone walls and Aladdin-like windows. Owners are fantastic too. They took my family to a private wedding, on a shopping trip to the market, and arranged our camel safari. Their rooftop restaurant at the Shahi Palace is great too. No clean towels provided, but a small oversight in the bigger picture. We're very happy with our stay, and would definitely come back. "

"Overall, property is decent. However, could use some TLC. Lots of bugs in the room. Do not give drinking water daily. The head shower didn’t work in my room. The staff is super nice and tries to help where they can. The menu is essentially the same every day. We stayed for 3 days and ate same things. They should switch some things up. Also, the entertainment conflicts with dinner time. They should also not encourage drinking at the evening show. We paid a lot of money to experience the culture...

"The tents were luxury, but the interior wasn't. It was liveable after wiping the loo with antibacterial wipes, and we really enjoyed the entertainment; however it wasn't as expected. The food was well prepared and tasty, but someone was a bit heavy handed with the salt and sugar. The location is great, and right next to the dunes and sunset point (where everyone goes with their camels, and most of the camps), so it's easy and safe to walk up there for that and to hire a camel or cart ride over...

"Authentic rustic experience!!! Excellent customer service. Only 10 tents, unlike many others that look like army barracks. Good food, clean facilities. Book it."
