"I had stayed at a number of budget hotels in my 30+ years of traveling. Even at a budget hotel it should be clean. When I checked in, there was mold in the bathroom ceiling. After some discussion they moved me to another room which was cleaner but then the TV didn't work. I again raised this to their attention and they said only two TVs work in the buiding and they were renovating and did not have a timeline of when the TVs would be working for anyone. "Excellent stay overall. We stayed in the top floor (duplex). Everything we could need in a room, absolutely gorgeous, clean and minimal. Keep in mind this is not a traditional hotel. "It's a budget property, in a less than popular area, close the the midi station and a short walk to everything in the city centre. The out of hours arrangement was perfectly ok, though getting through the front door was challenging. All the icons were rubbed out, so makes it difficult to press the right keys, but they've promised to replace the key pad. Sadly the WiFi was none existent, pretty poor when all cafƩs and centres have copious WiFi in this developed city!! But sadly not at Smartflats...

"Love are stay at this apartment. We were very well welcome and had easy access to their private secure parking lot just under the building for 20 euros. It is close to everything. Lots of restaurant around the hotel even offers free coffee 24/7. Apartment was well equipped with all the amenities . The only thing I can add is itā€™s starting to show its age a bit, but not a big deal for us."
