"This rental was more spacious than expected. Very comfortable and clean. Loved the huge windows in the master bedroom which give a great view of the river. As noted in the property description, trains run immediately behind the building, so it was not a surprise to us. Just be aware you WILL hear and feel the trains passing by overnight. "

"Off the beaten path a little but as long as you read the host's direction and info it was easy to find. Not a lot of lodging in the area, so we were happy to find this one in conjunction with being in the area for a wedding. The layout is nice and open, and the apartment was clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed here as it was close to a family function scheduled for the weekend, so we were really on there to sleep, but overall, the stay was great. I would recommend an additional outside light (there is a motion light, but it doesn't come on until you are right upon it). Also, hooks for towels would be great! It rained most of the weekend, so we were unable to use the firepit and make smores, but the smores ingredients were a great idea! Thank you! Cindy "

"Had a great stay here while in town for a work convention. Local bar & grill and a couple corner stores within walkable distances, parking was easy and always available near the entrance. You can definitely hear some walking around and a little conversation, but coming from apartment living in Philly that didn’t bother us much and we were out for the majority of the day anyway. "I was very happy with this VRBO. I stayed there for a month while working at the Battlefields rather than a hotel room and it was nice having all the open space. It is a short drive to Gettysburg and there is plenty of room for a family to stay. The hosts are great people!"

"Beautiful Home on top of huge hill with a 270 degree panoramic view of rolling hills. Pool was amazing! Not a sounds around you but nature. Rental space was opulent and grand and felt like you were in the whole Mansion! Mr William and Ms Liz and family were over hospitable and even more kind! I’m keeping it short and sweet but definitely a place I recommend and will be staying at again in the future! "

"We had multiple family members coming in from various locations and this was a perfect solution for their stay... even walking distance to our relative's home! The apartment was clean and spacious for our group of 3 adults. Amenities were more than we expected, and communication with the host was super! I'm a native of this area, but live outside the US. "Brian was a wonderful host - responding quickly to a questions/issues we had. The house was lovely - very spacious and well kept - with a beautiful view of the lake. Iht should be noted that there is a railroad track that runs along the back of the property - which you can hear throughout the night, if you are a lighter sleeper. Highly recommended. "
