"This was a second stay at Stella’s Hideaway and the place feels like home. It’s fully equipped with everything you’d need and more. The beds are really comfortable and there’s enough of them to host a large crew. Incredible sunsets off Lake Superior and good rock hunting for agates and yopperlites. We even got a glimpse of Northern Lights. We will definitely be back! Thanks Keith for being a great host!"

Bright & Clean

"The house was super bright & full of sunshine. Everything was new and very clean. We loved that there is a separate room with a TV so others can talk and be comfortable in the living room. The neighborhood was quiet and the community was friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely return!"

Great Stay

"The Little Brown House was exactly what we needed. We came up to pick up our son from Michigan Tech. I was very appreciative of the recliners because I have a medical condition in my lower back that causes pain when I have to sit up straight. Having a recliner allows me to be comfortable. The property was very well maintained and clean. My only complaint, and I realize it is just me, is the bed was way to firm for me, just a persal preference. Also, having Slim's cafe across the street was a pleasant bonus."

Incredible Stay near Lake Superior!

"This place was absolutely incredible, out in the country, private setting, and the deer come right up to the porch, or you can see them in the forest. Next to you can see the lake from inside and they leave binoculars in there for you to look at the lake . We saw a bug eagle from a many dears.It was awesome .. It's only a few minutes from the lake period very comfy, a lot of room and we will definitely be back"
