"We really enjoyed our time in Vermont. The house is beautiful post and beam construction, and the property is gorgeous. There were still a couple of feet of snow on the ground, and we used the wood stove the entire week. We only saw one car drive by the entire week- very secluded. The internet is extremely fast, which allowed me to work while we were there, but also get away from the city, which is exactly what we were looking for. The property was safe for our dogs to roam as well, which was great. If I had a couple of minor criticisms it would be that there is kind of a lot of clutter in the house (think Grandma's house- comfy but lots of things everywhere), and the dishes were not very clean from the previous renter, so not much housekeeping QC going on- bits of food stuck on glasses, etc. But frankly it didn't matter, everything else was so beautiful, and the house had everything we needed, we just had to dig for it sometimes. We visited with our small family and dogs, but this cabin would be fantastic for a group of 8 or 10 as a getaway. Also, the number of windows is amazing- sunrises were absolutely stunning from the master bedroom. Highly recommended. "

"My stay was good, the only thing I did not like was the windows not having curtains despite them being higher up. I did not feel comfortable enough to take a shower. It was very awkward having a window in the bathroom, let alone not having a curtain to close. "
