"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! This was such a comfortable and well-appointed place to enjoy a relaxing vacation. It truly felt like everything we needed was right at our fingertips—no need to bring all the usual extras. The location is unbeatable: grocery stores and restaurants are just a short walk away, and the beach is literally right out the back door. The views are stunning at all times of day, in any weather. "The notable features of this rental are the location and generally the comfort. It is amazingly located in an area rich with trees and a quick beautiful walk down a path and a boardwalk to the beach--only like 100 yards. it is a very private and beautiful path. Was my favorite part. The beach was amazing. Literally 90 second walk and you're there. The owner has beach chairs and a little wheely cart thing to tote your stuff to the beach, plus lots of sand toys and blow ups (as of March 2025)....

"This is an amazing property! Inside and out! The pool and hot tub were perfect for the adults, as well as the children. Super clean and well stocked kitchen! They also had bikes and beach chairs we could use. Every bed was comfortable and the house is so spacious. Communication was superb. I highly recommend the Second Star! "

"I would have given the property a higher rating and REALLY wanted too given that John the owner was so responsive and communicative. However, the place needs some attention. We think a good coat of paint on the inside, fixing some of the mechanical issues like the dishwasher, shower heads, clean the carpets, replace some carpets with new flooring, a good deep cleaning, etc would go a long way. We absolutely loved the view, the house, the location, etc. It truly is magical but just needs some...

"Beautiful home. Host was very accessible. Everything was really nice."

"Very old and run down! Kept very clean though. There wasn’t even a hot water hookup on the washer. So cold water wash not even warm! Very very CHEAP! Sink and picnic table in backyard need to be replaced. Watch out for the hallway drop off. It’s about 2 1/2 inches and on a late night check in watch out. Over all the wife and I had a good time. House was mostly a place to keep our stuff and sleep."
