"Excellent room Staff are helpful but cannot speak English. Comfortable place The only complaint was the food. It snowed on the night of arrival and the next day we decided to use the hotel dinning. There plenty of choices but the food are not as fres at other places and was quite expensive . We later found reasonably close by restaurant which are actually cheaper. "

"Property is high up a mountain secluded. I did not get the chance to explore the area so I'm not sure if there's other options in, but our option was thru a taxi. Definitely would have to drive up to get up there. The facilities had a fantastic view. The hotel also had a spacious onsen, very well equipped. "Location - there is a pick up service from jr nakuro onsen station. You need to notify the hotel in advance for the pick up service. Staff- they are very nice. I got off at the wrong jr station. The next train will be an hour later but the hotel staff was already at the station waiting for me. I was very lucky to get some assistance from a local gentleman.
