"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and they had a good service. The breakfast was very good in 2 of the times I ate there. But there were other times, may a different chef, it wasn't so good... the room was cleaned every day, but they didnt replaced the water ( it was given only a small bottle for our entire stay). The shower was excellent. I highly recccomend, no matter fact I would use the Muthu hotels at any countries they operate. Thanks"

"We enjoyed our stay here in Oban. The room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and furnishings. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a treat to have a pub downstairs with 150 bottles of whisky to sample!! The rooms are steps away from train/ bus/ ferry and restaurants. We would highly recommend the Vaults. "

"I'll cut to the chase with this one. If you're expecting all the frills, you won't get them. HOWEVER... Its an absolute bargain and certainly ideal for a short break. The hotel itself may be in need of some work (and it looks like some of that work has started), but ultimately, its clean, comfortable, ideally located given its very close proximity to the railway station etc, and even the noise issues that people had raised in other reviews wasnt an issue. You might get a bit of background noise but its not offputting and what do you expect? Its in the town centre next to a railway station and a ferry port. I still managed a good nights sleep. Check in was also very straightforward and easy too. Definitely recommended for anyone who needs a place to get a good nights kip for the next days adventures. 👍"
