"Fantastic property with lots of character. Was easy to access with key in a little lockbox, for which we were sent the code. Masses of space, comfy beds and sofas. Well equipped kitchen. Amazing views. We had sheep in the garden one morning.Only issue was as it's an older property there were very few electrical sockets, and those that were there were already filled with electric heater plugs."

"If you are looking for a relatively remote spot with gorgeous views across the loch, this is perfect. The property was warm and cosy, great to hunker down despite the lashing rain and powerful wind outside. A short walk gets you to Talisker distillery, the Old Inn and little local convenience store, so yiu have all you need. Property well equipped and comfortable, great communication with owner - thanks for the opportunity to explores the wilds and wiles of Skye."

"A unique place to calm down and just enjoy life. Would totally recommend that experience. We shared the otter pod with me, husband and 2 kids and it was very comfy. Place also has hot shower and good sanitary."

"Absolutely amazing location!! Beautiful views out every window! Perfect place to stay for touring the Isle of Skye. While there were a lot of high end (luxury) things in the house, it really isn't meant for 6 adults.Perhaps 4 medium sized people. The rooms were tiny and luggage had to be left in the living room. A single couch isn't enough for 6. The kitchen was pretty small for trying to cook in and the counter stools were too big for sitting in if anybody needed to get anywhere. The sun room would be perfect with more chairs. No broom or dust pan to clean up after our spills. Little things like that. Even so, we really had a good time! Thank you!"

"Everything about this place was perfect! The space was obviously designed for the ease and enjoyment of its guests. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, the bedrooms were adorably decorated with comfortable beds and plenty of clothing storage. The cottage is located directly across the street from Talisker, overlooking the water from the backside of the house & back garden. We loved our stay!"
