"I had an absolutely wonderful time here. The staff at the front desk was so helpful, and so quick to address any question or concern. My meals were excellent as was the service in the dining room and bar. The Sauna/cold plunge experience was exceptional and the coziness of my cabin cannot be paralleled. I cannot speak more highly of this experience, book it! "

"The place was very tired and the cleanliness could be improved. I found a the stalk from a buch of grapes by the side of the bed which i was surprised was missed if the floors had supposedly been hoovered!? The ajoining restaurant/pub was good. Great service and food was good (not great but value for money). The maon thing for me was the convenient parking."

"We absolutely loved our stay. Wonderful place and people. The staff were amazing; particularly John and John, who were thoughtful and took care of us the entire time. Rooms were kept very nicely and having the option to do laundry was an added bonus. Skye is a gorgeous place and staying at this hotel only made our experience better. Terrific restaurant, which we spent 2 dinners 3 breakfast’s at. Would highly recommend and hope to be back soon"

"Duisdale hotel is a small boutique establishment. Each room has its own personality. Lovely chandeliers, very nice canopy bed in one of our three rooms. Service seemed stretched a bit thin, but staff was pleasant. Property had excellent water view!"

"A lovely, clean and modern yet traditional hotel. Customer service is excellent, had two small queries once we arrived however these were fixed immediately. Beds were super comfy, plenty of space in the rooms and we were able to request a twin instead of a double. All but a few hairs the room matched the rest of the hotel in its cleanliness. breakfast was amazing and very reasonably priced. location wise it was great, there was a car park although seemed very limited spaces even for winter....

"The best hotel on our road trip. Handy location, beautiful setting, lovely rooms with wonderful bedding. My husband didn't want to get out of bed the next morning because it was so comfortable. Highly recommended."

"Location is excellent but need to look for parking as limited. Room was really nicely decorated which made it feel really homely. Restaurant serves excellent food and it’s close to their restaurant and services. Portree itself it’s absolutely beautiful and I could not recommend it enough. "

"Although we enjoyed staying at the hotel it is important to realise that there is no on site parking, it seems there is normally street parking 50 metres up the road, not sure how it easy it would be to park "in season". Also you need to be aware that the rooms are up a steep flight of stairs, totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. "First time in Skye and my stay at House of Juniper helped make it a fantastic break. Nothing but positive things to say. Staff fantastic, the Sprig restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for new year's. Self check-in and out was very simple. The staff were really lovely, helpful and down for a chat. The view from our window was magnificent, overlooking the bay. The perfect home base for our explorations on Isle of Skye. The only thing that would improve the experience would be a mini fridge to keep groceries and milk fresh. Although mini fridges seem to be more common in Australian accommodation, as I haven't had one anywhere we have stayed...

"Absolutely amazing location!! Beautiful views out every window! Perfect place to stay for touring the Isle of Skye. While there were a lot of high end (luxury) things in the house, it really isn't meant for 6 adults.Perhaps 4 medium sized people. The rooms were tiny and luggage had to be left in the living room. A single couch isn't enough for 6. The kitchen was pretty small for trying to cook in and the counter stools were too big for sitting in if anybody needed to get anywhere. The sun room would be perfect with more chairs. No broom or dust pan to clean up after our spills. Little things like that. Even so, we really had a good time! Thank you!"

Perfect little spot to enjoy Skye

"Everything about this place was perfect! The space was obviously designed for the ease and enjoyment of its guests. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, the bedrooms were adorably decorated with comfortable beds and plenty of clothing storage. The cottage is located directly across the street from Talisker, overlooking the water from the backside of the house & back garden. We loved our stay!"
