The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. It needs more soft furnishings to reduce the reverberation from people talking very loudly. Unusual to be given an exact time for breakfast. "fantastic and charming place! Be prepared to walk up the steps on the inside but it's very delightful once you're in. The bed is super comfy and the shower was brilliant and the view is amazing. East walk to the station, ferry port, and coastal walk. Lots of interesting books to read. If you make sure the windows are totally shut the road noise will be less noticeable. Delightful spot and felt very historical with real pride of ownership. Thank you, Jason and Howard!! "
