"fantastic and charming place! Be prepared to walk up the steps on the inside but it's very delightful once you're in. The bed is super comfy and the shower was brilliant and the view is amazing. East walk to the station, ferry port, and coastal walk. Lots of interesting books to read. If you make sure the windows are totally shut the road noise will be less noticeable. Downstairs log burner is excellent, but only used the one upstairs in the living room once as it used a lot of wood for not much heat. Bring your own logs as there are none at the property. "We were wanting a clean room close to the station and ferry services and this fitted the bill well though the room was basic- the decor quite stark. It was fine for a one night stay but defintely not for a luxury weekend."

"The property was well located for a night's stay before catching the ferry to Belfast early morning. However, the room was not that clean. The furniture was sticky. The carpet did not appear to have been hoovered, there was a teaspoon lying on the floor. Although the owners explained they would not greet us personally because of COVID safey, this is well beyond the restrictions timetable and it would have been preferable to have a better service.
