"The hotel although the lobby was being remodeled the rooms were newly refurbished. Only things i didn't like shower head was too low im 6'4 and if i wasn't careful i would hit my head on it. Also tv was wall mounted to the left of bed not very comfortable for watching and there were 2 hooks to hang towels on at entry point of shower which towels would get wet while showering no hooks or bars for hand towels in bathroom seems odd"

"We stayed at the Beachside Inn for New Year’s Eve during our California family road trip up the coast. Great location and very welcoming staff. The Happy Hour complimentary wine and cheese from 4-5 p.m. was a nice treat. Lots to see and do in the area. All amenities, including State Street (closed off for shopping and dining) were within walking distance. Our room was clean and spacious. The only issue was that the pool wasn’t heated, which was a disappointment for our youngest who loves to swim. Overall, would highly recommend! "
