This luxurious 4-bedroom house, located in the desirable south end of Isla Mujeres, comes with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea, complete with wonderful early morning sunrises to be enjoyed from the comfort of your outdoor terrace.

Your Caribbean island escape is hidden away, set back from the main road at the end of a long driveway. Escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown Isla Mujeres at this peaceful and private get away, ideal for families or large groups. Enter the house through the large wooden doors into your spacious, air conditioned, elegantly designed living area.

Enjoy lazy days looking out towards the Caribbean Sea, across your large infinity pool with a built swim up bar. Relax on a lounge chair as the sounds of the waves lull you into a slumber. Rest in the shade with one of the books available or play a board game with family. Relax in the heated jacuzzi and spend your evening cooking at the outdoor kitchen and dine under the stars of the Mexican night sky.

The indoor kitchen with its long granite worktops has everything that you will need to make something delicious, including a large refrigerator, oven and stove, microwave, dish washer, toaster, blender and coffee maker as well as dishes and utensils. Dine at the grand breakfast bar that can seat 6 people. Or dine under the villa style brick, dome roof, with its beautiful chandelier, at the striking marble dining table that can seat 8. The waterfall wall in the living area is a magnificent added touch.

After a day in the Mexican sun relax and cool off on one of the two great sofas in front of your large Smart TV, complete with a DVD player and DVDs. From here look out to the Caribbean through the large glass doors.

Wake up in one of the 4-bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom with walk in stone showers. Each also complete with a spacious closet, with a safe for your valuables, AC and ceiling fans as well as a TV. The upstairs master bedroom, with a king bed, has access to a wonderful private patio. Access the pool through your own private patio door in the downstairs master bedroom, with a king bed. There are 2 second bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed, the other with 2 double beds.

The property is indeed as lovely as the pictures show. All 4 bedrooms have great mattresses, full ensuite bathrooms (toilet side trash cans have multiple extra bags - great since you can't flush TP), safes, beach towels, toiletries, plenty of closet and drawer space, and their own remote controlled AC units. Upstairs MBR has linen curtains and faces east, so be prepared for a bright room in the AM. You have amazing views of the sunrise over the Caribbean, though, and there are 3 lounge chairs + 2 seated chairs on the rooftop patio just outside the master BR (also accessible from the top of the stairs, so others in the house can get to the roof without going through the master BR). It's a great spot for star gazing, too. The main living area is plenty comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen should you choose to do a lot of cooking. The pool is very large and gets sun all day (water stays warm), with 4 wicker sitting chairs and 5 lounge chairs, not to mention the outdoor dining area. The beach out back is not swimmable nor accessible due to the cliffs, but the view is gorgeous. Multiple beach clubs on the Cancun-side of the island are a short 5 min cart drive away. You definitely need a golf cart to go places. It's a solid 25 min ride to Playa Norte, but the southern half of the island is actually our favorite due to the more quiet, serene nature (vs the congested party atmosphere up north). Use the concierge service - they are incredibly helpful & responsive!

the house is truly beautiful. 3 of the bathrooms have stone walk in showers, there is a a waterfall wall down stairs in the living room, and several rooms have walk out access to the pool and view of the ocean. 10/10!

This stunning property could not have been more perfect for our family !
After the bustle of downtown or a busy excursion, it was so nice to relax with our family in this stunning house. Each room is like a master suite and was super spacious for our large family. Stunning views and equipped with anything you need. This is well thought out and could not have been more perfect. Loved the late night star watching from the roof top deck. I would recommend a golf cart to allow total freedom for getting around!

This house was amazing, like a dream. It is ocean front with gorgeous sunrise view. It slept 9 easily. The outside area was great for large group. Pool was awesome. Only negative was that hot tub did not work. Will definitely book this house again!

Beautiful Home Scenic View
El Gran Escape is an absolutely beautiful home with all the amenities you would ever need. Beds were comfortable, rooms large (with the exception of the room with two double beds). A few of the bathrooms could have used brighter lighting and much larger mirrors. Other than that, everything was exceptional!
