"We enjoyed our 5 night stay over the new year holiday. The accommodations were as described and very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied for home cooking. The house had not been occupied for some time before our arrival and was cold, but the mini split devices in each room were effective for heating. Working with the owner and the house manager, Emma, was very convenient and clear. If we returned to the area, we would consider staying at the property again. "

"We came on holiday September 2024 as a family of 9 guests. When booking the Villa we thought the pictures and write up looked great for our needs. But the Villa was even more impressive than the photos could portray. Very clean and well maintained. Bedrooms well spaced out across the Villa and lots of social areas, so we never felt cramped. "We stayed as a party of 9 (4 adults, 4 teens and a 10 year old). I think it’s useful for other potential guests to know the following, based on our experience: 1. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs are only suitable for small children or anyone under 3ft! They are basically loft rooms, no windows, I lost track of the number of times we banged our heads on the roof and trying to make the beds when you can’t stand up is difficult. 2. The location of the property is remote. The plot to the right...

"The property is right on the Portugal/Spain border which was what we were looking for to allow trips within both countries. It is located beside a Golf Course, a short drive from Ayamonte. The house was filled with just about anything you could need for the trip and had some of the basic essentials (spices, etc..) so you did not need to buy these for your stay. We had some pretty wild weather during our week which did some damage to the fence, but they came and temporarily repaired it right away...

"Fabulous fortnight in this perfect villa. Great location, great size villa and pool. Hired a car to see the rest of the Algarve. Just wonderful, can't recommend enough. The owners are super friendly and quick to respond to queries. "

"The villa had all the facilities we required. Lovely pool, comfy beds and plenty of space for everyone. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The villa is well situated and you can walk to beaches and restuarants but a car is ideally needed for shopping and to explore the area. The only thing to mention is the villa would benefit from a few more sunbeds or softer seating in the pool area as the current ones are short in number and getting a little tired. But it was a wonderful holiday...

"We were a family group of 9, with 3 generations. Beautiful villa, the pictures don't really do it justice. Lovely large terrace so you can find space/peace and sun/shade as needed. Great pool, which the kids loved. Loads of parking, spacious bedrooms. Nice easy, flat walk into Cabanas itself for the supermarket, bars and restaurants. Gorgeous beaches nearby and Tavira itself, which is well worth a visit. We also managed to squeeze in a day trip to Seville."
