"The property is in a nice, quiet, residential position and the pool is clean and cared for. Walking distance to the town and beach made it easy for us. The garden is small but pretty and fairly private given the house position. Having someone to meet us would have been a nice touch, or even someone checking in during the stay or when leaving. We had no contact with anyone. However, we managed with the lock safe. I'm sure most people wouldn't worry. The property itself has air-conditioning...

"We come to Portugal every year, staying in new places all the time, 12 people or more. This property was very close to an incredible beach, when i say close i mean less than 5 min walk with young ones at heel. They came and changed the sheets and kept things clean, the icky thing i missed that we usually see is someone cleaning the pool, but the tools where handily they're and the kids loved to do it. We will most likely come back! Definitely recommended"

"Overall I was satisfied with the house , place was well furnished , location was great and plenty of restaurants nearby ( I’d say Dunas was my favourite). My only gripe was the extra slim beds ( all four the same)…I’m 5’ 11” ( 180 lbs) and couldn’t feel comfortable sleeping in those beds. It’s time to get at least a queen size bed to attain a perfect score."

"It was a comfortable and clean house with a well-equipped kitchen. We had stayed in Manta Rota in previous years and this was the best accommodation we booked in terms of amenities/comfort/space. The only disadvantage is it is a little far from the beach - about a 15-20 minute walk."

The beach itself (5 mins walk away) is stunning and seems to go on forever. As is clear from the pictures, decoratively the house is a tad dated inside. For those who don't mind this, however, it offers a perfect Algarve beach house. Although the house has 5 bedrooms, the small living area would make it a bit of a squeeze...

"Great hotel and very friendly staff. The outside pool is cold. Reception staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 1 in the morning and still got checked in after calling the out of hours number. "We (a couple) stayed here in February/March. Cesar (and family) met us on arrival at the property and were available (by phone) throughout the holiday. They were very helpful both before and during our stay. The apartment is in a great position overlooking the sea and catching the afternoon and evening sun even at this time of year. "The villa certainly did not disappoint. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space and particularly loved the outdoor areas with the lovely pool, hot tub, wraparound terrace with 2 outdoor tables, a number of sunbeds, umbrellas for shade and BBQ. The games room provided plenty of entertainment too. A very quiet area with a cluster of villas in the vicinity but not so close as to disturb each other.
