"This is a Hunter's cabin. Nothing real fancy. Bathroom is not in the same cottage, it's in another cottage across the driveway. The host is very nice. This cottage is in a very peaceful location. "

"In a nicely secluded neighborhood on the Lake. Very Clean, big deck on the house, updated interior. The lake view is the best. Right on the lake with big windows to see everything. Wonderful to wake up to. Heat was perfect for our stay in November. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Gwinn. "

"we stopped here on our way up from the lower peninsula to porcupine Mountain State Park. Nice little restful spot to chill out on the beach and enjoy the lake and sauna. "The cabin is perfect! It’s beautifully decorated, has 2 bathrooms, which accommodated 2 couple perfectly. It had all of the kitchen utensils needed to cook including a grill. It’s a gorgeous place! We enjoyed our stay there so much. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We caught a lot of fish just off of the dock. One of our group is a nature photographer and she got some fantastic shots of an Eagle who visited the lake everyday. It was GREAT! "

"Overall it was a great trip and had a great time. At first we got lost but I blame that on us not having service and lack or knowledge about the area so have an idea beforehand of whereabouts where the property is. When we arrived there was a surplus of flies in the house as well as little to no kitchen utensils. Other than that it was a cute cabin that was nice for the nature aspect. "

"All the charm of a rustic site with the benefit of a hot shower and kitchen amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the river, reading in the hammock, and morning coffee in the screened in porch. We read the reviews ahead of time and were aware of what to expect. Had a deer or moose (too dark to discern which) visit the island very early one morning and enjoyed watching the beaver in the evening. Fantastic location for a day trip to Copper Harbor or the Porcupine Mountains "

"Very quiet and tranquil setting for an older home on Little Lake. Bed was comfortable and was stocked with everything we needed. Only stayed for the weekend but would come back for a longer stay to enjoy the lake more."

"Dont be afraid of the name of this place! It is absolutely adorable and very comfortable. Stayed with my 2 sisters while visiting my daughter at NMU. Fall colors were at peak and absolutely AMAZING! House was very clean and comfortable. Lots of games and kids toyd. Highly recommended it and will be happy to go again!"

"We had 5 people and 7 dogs staying here and it all worked out great. Plenty of space for the dogs to run and for everyone to sleep comfortably. Iron Mountain is only 15 mins away and the Randville Bar (5mins away) has an amazing Friday Fish Fry. We explored all over the area and educated birds near and far. "Enjoyed our stay.. We liked the building as it was an older property and well maintained. A couple of the steps were either a big step up or down, depending on which way you were going. This was tougher for older people to handle. The only complaint we had was that the furniture was very uncomfortable. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay( location was quite good, close to a wide variety of restaurants) and would consider using this location again."
