The cabin provided everything would need from the kitchen, towels and plenty of extra blankets/pillows. Tim and Melanie were alway very quick to respond to any questions we had. "The house is great, the location is out of this world, and the backyard is to die for. Lake front with a fire pit right on the lake. Owners were prompt in returning calls and taking care of our needs. "

"We had a great time staying at this location. It is very peaceful and there are not many other houses on the lake. Great fishing as well! The only recommendation I would have is to place a humidifier in the basement as it is a little sticky down there. Otherwise great place to stay "

"we stopped here on our way up from the lower peninsula to porcupine Mountain State Park. Nice little restful spot to chill out on the beach and enjoy the lake and sauna. We loved that there were paddle boards and kayaks available for us to use. Awesome sunset spot.A fire pit available, but we did not use it. but really not too loud or disturbing. Easy check-in. "Cabin was perfect for our group, plenty of room for our two trucks and trailers location would have been good if there would have been snow, can’t predict Mother Nature."

"This was our first stay here and it won't be our last! I'm from the area and brought my girlfriend (now fiance) to enjoy the quiet of the woods. We went snow shoeing around the property, stayed in one night and watched a thriller movie, and went to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain (Doodooshani-wajiw) to get engaged.We sauna'd every single day, and got some eggs from Roger for breakfast. Absolutely love the property, love the host, and we will be back next year if not sooner! "

"In a nicely secluded neighborhood on the Lake. Very Clean, big deck on the house, updated interior. The lake view is the best. Right on the lake with big windows to see everything. Wonderful to wake up to. Heat was perfect for our stay in November. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Gwinn. "

"The cabin was well maintained and well stocked throughout. The owner was up front, accessible, and responsive; and left us an unexpected and thoughtful gift. During our stay we spent virtually all of our time In The cabin due to -20 to -40 degree windchills. We did not feel cooped up. We may come back when the weather is warmer. "

"Dont be afraid of the name of this place! It is absolutely adorable and very comfortable. Stayed with my 2 sisters while visiting my daughter at NMU. Fall colors were at peak and absolutely AMAZING! "This rental exceeded our expectations! Cleanest rental I’ve been at. There was plenty of room so everyone had their own space and having two living rooms was perfect! The kitchen was stocked with items so we could cook for a big group. Large pots, pans, 2 coffee makers, and even a kitchen aid mixer. Plenty of parking in the adjacent property. Finally a VRBO owner that knows how to make their tenants comfortable! 5+⭐️"
