"It is my first time coming to Ishigaki in Okinawa. Japanese service obviously is top notch. But ANA Intercontinental Ishigaki Resort service is just something else. A big shout out to Miki at the front desk of the Bay Wing where we were at. Our flight was 8am and taxi typically don’t operate that early to take us to the airport. Miki just relentlessly calling for us and proactively suggested to get two taxi instead of a big one such that we can get to the airport as fast as possible. All other...

Fusaki Beach Resort Hotel & Villas
4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (804)
"The property was very nice modern and clean. The staff was very friendly but they need more English speaking staff. The beach was disappointing, the sand was yellowish and one could hardly walk to the shore because of the small pieces of coral in it. The restaurant Hanare was the best!!!!!! Loved the 10 course dinner. That chef deserves a Michellin star! Great for families with small kids. "

"Great hotel for the budget-minded. Pool is wonderful and there’s a lovely walking path that goes along the water in both directions, right in front of the pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Little things could be improved like better pillows and bigger and better towels and beach towels. Liked the water bottle filling station instead of more plastic bottles. "

"Highly recommended. The house's owner: Hiro-san was super friendly, welcoming and amazing guy! During our check-in, he found out it was our very 1st time visiting Ishigaki island so he gave us a very detailed guide & recommendations including: sunrise/sunset time, precautions for the ocean, island geography, etc. Best condensed 15-mins Ishigaki guide from a person living there that beats everything you could find online! Nagura Village
3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (148)
"Spacious rooms, well equipped, though the rest of the hotel is bereft of any amenities, but never mind. We learned to appreciate the place. A bit remote for those without a car, but we managed to enjoy with the help of the bus timetable. Very friendly small team of staff who try their best to make up for shortcomings of the place. Breakfast was charged as an extra, but it was nice and worth it. As said, the room is vast and comfy and there's a little pantry in it, but we wish the little backyard...
