"I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back."

"The cottage is very well situated for easy access to Kingsbridge on foot and on the flat too. It's very well appointed, we didn't really want for anything. It's warm and cosy, bed was incredibly comfortable, kitchen has everything you'd reasonably need. Car parking in an allocated slot 3 minutes walk from the cottage and no problems there. Staircase is a little steep with 3 or 4 steps at the bottom so that is something to consider if you're less mobile. But otherwise - we really enjoyed our...

Watching the river wake up each morning and the twinkling of Dartmouth at night with a sound track of tawny owls and the toot of a steam train, this is a holiday for the senses. "Chris and Dale where great. Messages were replied to within hours. On arrival there were basic supplies which was helpful as well as sweets for the kuds and a bread pudding. The beds were really comfy and everything felt and looked clean.and fresh. My daughter lives horses and was taken by Chris to meet and hreet them. Dale was always around for a friendly chat, replenish the ligs for the fire or help with any questions. Whilst the lane is a little tight and steep its managable in both vehicles...

"Communication with the owners was excellent. Unfortunately several of our group have mobility issues and accessing the property was very difficult. The property information indicated that you accessed the property via steps but they are very steep with no handrail"

"I made the booking via Hotel.com and 5 hours after I paid I had an email that I had to pay a £50 mandatory fee for facilities passes at the park. I questioned this as nothing was stated via booking and the price stated was the final price I paid. I had emails from a 3rd party called travelnest and also getting emails from someone asking for £50. The whole booking was a mess. Eventually I spoke to the host and he kept saying its written in the description of this extra charge when I never saw it,...
