"When we made our reservation we were not told how to communicate with the owner. We didn’t know where to get the key or since it was a private residence if we needed any other supplies. We were given 3 numbers to call and left several messages but no one ever returned our calls. Because we couldn’t communicate with them it seemed sketchy. We didn’t go there and of course lost our money. Even though we explained the problem they wouldn’t refund our money. A very bad experience!"

"This place is a prime spot for swimming and kayaking. Plenty of space in this home for up to 8-10 people. I loved the area. Quiet and nature in abundance. If you love the serine pleasure of nature this home is for you. The owner was on point wuth their destruction description. Thank you. W will be back. "

"Our family has been gathering in Dunnellon for 5 years now for Thanksgiving and our rental this time was the best rental we have found by far. It was so great we have already booked it for 2026! The property is beautiful, the house has such a great set up for a large group with so many great spots to sit and relax and catch up with extended family and friends. "Staff were superb, however, property had cockroaches. We had to switch to a new room because there were some cockroaches (the smaller kind that like appliances and food). The new room also had cockroaches so I believe this hotel needs to be fumigated in its totality. The curtains in the room were torn and the bedsheets were ragged as well. "

"This was a one of a kind place. Had everything we needed. Even with a cold winter storm coming the view was beautiful. Restaurant and gift shop attached. All staff super friendly and helpful. 1950s charm shows through, but room was comfortable. Glad we got to stay here before the major changes comingfor this property, if only for one night."
