"Only a short break (3 nights), the house was exactly as described and located five minutes drive from the village of Downings, narrow roads but no passing traffic. Beautiful views from the garden across Sheephaven Bay to Marble Hill Strand and Dunfanaghy. The house is well equipped with everything you could need including a log burner for the colder days / evenings and ample supply of fuel at very reasonable cost. Dog friendly was a bonus, would definitely recommend for a short - or long-get...

"Beautiful location overlooking Lough Swillly. Golf course and beach are 2 minutes away. Loved staying at the house with great facilities and really comfortable beds. Liam is a very accommodating host, always available and checking that we had all that we needed. Highly recommended!"

"Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom."

"Inverberg No 2 is tucked into a sheltered spot with a stunning view straight down Mulroy Bay to Carrigart. All three living spaces offer comfortable places to watch the constantly changing views of the bay and the hills beyond. Seals, birds, and boats all add to the scenery. Angela has a wonderfully presented property with all the essentials (and even a few extras to make sure we felt comfortable right from our arrival). "Beautiful location with direct beach access. Could do with some TLC around the property along with more kitchen utensils, mugs, pans etc. Could only find a couple of towels for 8 people, fortunately we had taken a few with us."
