The location is stunning, with splendid views and a sense of remoteness while being in touching distance of town, pub and shops. "This is the best equipped apartment I’ve ever stayed in. So generous. The host has clearly thought about every single thing. Cooking was so easy as the kitchen equipment is brilliant. So we’ll equipped for kids with great cot and highchair. But mostly, this is probably the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever visited. Spotless. Will be returning!"

Delightful Stay at Harbour Inn, Buncrana, Donegal

"During many past visits to Buncrana, I often passed by the Harbour Inn but never stayed until now. I'm pleased to say the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I checked in until the time I departed, the staff, including Mary at the reception and Sinead during check-out, were exceptional. An unexpected incident occurred when one of my sons accidentally locked himself in the bathroom. The swift response from the wonderful staff to resolve the situation was truly commendable. They promptly arranged for assistance, ensuring minimal distress. Dining at the hotel is a popular choice, and it can become quite crowded. Heeding the advice to make a reservation was beneficial, leading to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, the Harbour Inn provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, matched by attentive and friendly service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It’s not just a place to stay but a delightful part of the Buncrana experience."

"Lovely flat in a nice town with fabulous seaside walk. Lots of beautiful scenery in area and places to eat. Going to Derry also very doable too from here. "

Home from home

"I can't find a fault with anything about my Stay even if I wanted to, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was excellent, comfortable beds, clean, tidy, hosts were best I've ever experienced, I would definitely have no hesitation in staying again, and would recommend madra rua to anyone. "
