"The front desk staff was great, but the bar was advertised to stay open until 1 am. When we came in from a concert intending on staying down for drinks, the bar was already closed at 10.30. We had to leave again just to find drinks because the casino refused us drinks unless we were playing but was not comp around asking for drink orders. When we went up to ask for one they were very rude about it. "

"The house had original historic features yet modern amenities including a whirlpool tub. The bed was comfortable and clean as was the rest of the room and bathroom. The owner made an incredible full breakfast that was served each morning. It gives you a chance to meet the other guests and the owners 3 dogs. Absolutely perfect place to stay in Shreveport. Historic, southern charm and friendly people. "

Free full breakfast was good but the layout could be improved. Also, the water pressure for the bathtub was too low - shower was more of a sprinkle. Overall, it was a good hotel. "
