I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer though; we purchased fans that helped cool us down at night. Host was great but not as responsive as other VRBO experiences I’ve had (maybe it’s the more relaxed French way?)."

"Nous avons passé un très chouette week-end dans cette jolie maison du centre d’Amboise. Refaite à neuf dans une ancienne maison un peu troglodyte, elle a beaucoup de cachet et est bien équipée ! Et tout est à proximité ! Juste à noter l’escalier un peu raide pour de jeunes enfants."

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car.
