"I had a great stay. Check in/out was so easy, no hassle. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. My only feedback was that the decor and wallpaper was clearly very old, we’re talking probably from the days where smoking in rooms was allowed. Of course there was no smell or problem, so I still rated 5 stars, but the place is a bit dated. Otherwise the room was great, I didn’t find it loud despite the construction all around the building, and I slept well every night I was there. The location was incredible and had so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. It was a great place to stay for a Halifax vacation, I recommend it to anyone looking for a prime location on a budget. "

"We loved the Sutton Place Hotel. We had never been to Halifax so we weren't really sure if this would be a good location, but it was very convenient and it was easy to walk to restaurants and the waterfront. The front desk staff and bell staff were friendly and courteous. The room was small, but the decor was very updated and pretty - especially the bathroom. We also thought the price was very reasonable for an upscale downtown hotel."

"Amazing staff. Decent stay. Breakfast was okay. Wish they would change it up occasionally. Stayed there 15 days and it was difficult having the same thing everyday But the friendliness of the staff made me feel so welcome. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Would certainly stay there again "
