"This is literally located right next to the river. Listening to the roar of the river at night reminded me of camping next to the river as a kid. Remote area surrounded by mountains. We stayed while it was chilly so there was a lot of fog surrounding the mountain tops. Close to a couple easy hiking trails. If you like nature be sure to visit here. This is a great escape from the big city. "

"When we showed up, everything was ready to go. Hot tub heated and ready (a nice touch), a bottle of wine set out for the adults, and games and movies ready to go without trouble. The neighborhood is true mountain town. There’s not a lot going on as for entertainment and dining, but we expected this going in. It’s part of the joys of being in Index.
