"Absolutely beautiful gem of a property. Tucked back by the river you have lots of privacy. You are relatively close to neighbors so be mindful! Also gotta check out the espresso challet on your way in or out mandatory!"

"When we showed up, everything was ready to go. Hot tub heated and ready (a nice touch), a bottle of wine set out for the adults, and games and movies ready to go without trouble. The neighborhood is true mountain town. There’s not a lot going on as for entertainment and dining, but we expected this going in. It’s part of the joys of being in Index. There is occasional train noise, but I found it undisturbing to my sleep with fans going. The place was clean and I felt as listed. We did a number of hikes in the area during couple of days at the house that were fun and okay for some inclement weather. In the guest book, they mention that their water is some of the best drinking water in America, and we’d have to agree—it’s very good water. It’s great for both drinking and showers.We’d definitely come back. "

"This is cabin is exactly what you would describe if asked to describe what a cabin should be like. Its perfectly rustic whith just enough modern touches. Everything was wonderful and clean with great instructions to run everything.the only tip I would give is to bring your own water"

"The scenery during the day is serene. I highly recommend arriving when the sun is still out, otherwise it’s a bit spooky. There are a few flashlights plugged into the outlets inside. The river can be heard at all times, like a peaceful white noise. It was raining for our whole trip, so we only went outside for the hot tub, which was AMAZING after a long day of skiing. It’s 7 miles to the closest gas station, and even more to the market, so do some grocery shopping on the way in.My only complaints are the complete lack of water pressure, but that might have had something to do with our trip being in the winter time. I also got a flat on the gravel road leading up to the cabin, so bring a tire repair kit to be safe :)"

"Our family had a memorial stay at Pam's eco-friendly dome where my kids have chances to interact with sheep and alpacas, know how to use solo stove and environmental friendly facilities, enjoy the beautiful sights of Duvall. The weather was rainy and cold in Dec, but the dome was really cozy since the owner has heaters, electronic blankets... to keep guests warms. Host is enthusiastic and responsible to guest's inquiries. We highly recommended this location for guests who are looking for new experience !"
