"GLK Acropol staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay in Istanbul, especially Mustafa and Emre. Hussein at reception was helpful in arranging the Bosphorus Cruise for us as well as transfer back to IST on our departure day. Although the hotel is a bit old, the management has kept it well maintained. The location of the hotel is phenomenal, however do keep in mind there several bars on this street, if you sleep in early be aware it can be some what noisy at night. "

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff is lovely. You can easily walk to the grand bazaar, the spice market, Hagia Sofia, the blue mosque, Topkapi palace, the cistern, and a lot of restaurants. The downside is taxis canā€™t drop you off at the hotel. The hotel will pick you up with a golf cart and bring you to a taxi stand. We had good weather and donā€™t have mobility issues so it wasnā€™t a problem for us. "

"Staff was very helpful. House keeping was top notch. Where my room was located i could hear people from the outside and every morning i could hear the delivery lorries beeping. Something they cant control was road work at the front of hotel. It's not management it's municipality. Other than that one week stayed was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it."
