"A 7 minute drive to the town centre but also meant it didn’t have the downtown noice. A very quiet, cosy comfortable place with only six individual cottages. Very well appointed and decorated room."

"Cherry Plum cottages was an absolute gem of a fine! It was traditional, quaint and delightful set in its own cottage garden, overlooking a field of llamas. Sitting on the Veranda in the evening whilst having a barbecue was such a lovely experience in the peace and quiet of the countryside. The room itself was so very comfortable, clean and traditional. Lovely touches were left everywhere – sweets in a bowl, jams, honey and other condiments, biscuits and even a decanter of port! "

"Firstly the accommodation is in someone's backyard, not informed of this when booked. Thought it was a house on private property. That was the biggest letdown. Had tradies turn up to do a job at the house on the 25/2 with no communication from people we rented room from. Blocked driveway and lost power. Tradies happy to move cars if we needed. "Great location. BBQ was not as clean as we had hoped. A separate toilet would have been advantageous. Overall great place to stay."

"The cottage is located in quiet street, the bed was comfy, but the pillow is too soft for us, the kitchen is full of equipment to used and the spa bath was fantastic. and we noticed that they have many similar cottages around the town. some of really looking cute and nice to stay in for next visit."

"Delighted with out stay. Easy access and Simon situated us into the place well. so close to the bike path, and walk into town. everything we needed was provided.Old world feel-just a presentable and comfortable stay.Pauline and Paul"

"Magnificent original Port Fairy cottage, with two comfortable bedrooms and two separate lounge areas. Also two seperate bathroom and shower areas made it easy for 4 adults. Garden areas great for the dogs and having a cuppa looking across paddocks.bathroom/showers"

"The location is excellent in terms of proximity to river, beach and township. The only thing to be wary of for next 6 months is that the neighbouring property is being constructed so tradies there by 7am - so don’t expect quiet sleep ins! Yard was a little small for our fur baby but plenty of easy beach walks made up for it. Watch your head on back door if you are 6 foot tall or more! Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful town."

"From the moment we walked into the cottage, we felt right at home. Lyneve had made sure the cottage was cool on the hot day we arrived - blinds down and fans on. The cottage is so close to the town centre you can walk there. Off street parking is a bonus. We stayed 4 nights and cooked dinner for ourselves during that time as well as going out to eat. Lovely decor and all amenities."

"A very pleasant one weeks stay. Very quiet and tranquil. Watching the varied birdlife on the lake was delightful. all new appliances in the kitchen were appreciated. The only negative was the small size of the shower."
